Baby is sick. The usual package of fever + flu + cough.

Mon- grandma @ west wing helped to look after her in the day. Tues- mummy took leave. Wed- grandma @ west wing. Then grandma suggested that she stay over instead of bringing her up & down.

And so she did. And boy, I missed baby badly! It was just one night! Apart fr attending to the big baby- I am supposedly to be more relax. BUT, the house became quiet, I became slightly free…. the emptiness made me miss her terribly. I am so not used to it! The momentum totally not there. Such an irony. heh. The jie jie also missed her… she told me she missed mei mei, then she said she feel like crying. Hahaha…

Valentine’s……

These years.. Valentine’s jus revolves around my family & friends! Sour grapes would say “Its jus another ordinary, commercialised day” Ha! True but so sour grapes. Hahaha..

Nonetheless, we gals decided to give ourselves a treat! Lunch w my two valentines. Hey, we got our first roses too! Its a nice purple rose. Followed by a mini valentine photo session with my lurpie of 5yrs of which we spontaneously game for it. :) I still remembered how we came up with this name “L-u-r-p-i-e”… so uniquely US!

Tgth with the big baby – we also did some simple craft – Valentine’s Dollies to give her best friends & her core teachers. (meant as a break fr her daily dose of homework & spelling) Came across this easy-to-do craft over here. It looks nicer with the simpler Dum Dum lollies but I cldn’t get it in Spore, hence gotta make do with our old school Chupa Chups. I found that the colours are too deep, too many colours, making the faces of the dollies looking abit weird. Nonetheless, I love the paper kimonos on the dollies!

Noticed for the past 2 weeks baby kae has not much of a appetite. Either she is sick of her salt-free food or its because of her swollen gums. But she still has a knack for tibits! Arrrggghhh…. my “dustbin” tum-tum is getting smaller!

Rae doesn’t have any. Neither does she has any comfort/security blanket or toy. But its different for baby kae. Since she’s abt 2mths old, I noticed that she needs to grab a cloth or some corners of pillows on her right hand then she cld put her left thumb into her mouth. Only then, she is pacified. She wld fall asleep gradually after that, and let go whatever she is grabbing.

Until I saw this when Kae was abt 4mths old, I never knew such a thing called a Taggie exists! Yeah. now everything also have. These are so pretty!

Hmmm, now, that explained why when I bought Kae’s first soft book, spent $16, only to see her interested in nothing but the tag! *lol I had contemplated to buying a taggie for her. But hestitated, as I thought I cld try doing one myself (cheapo mummy,lol) + gf was telling me I am wasting money. So, bleh, u guessed it. It never happened. Was worried abt the type of ribbons I shld be using + I do not ve a sewing machine. blah blah blah.

But Kae is not fussy- anything with a label goes! Her stuff toys with labels does the trick! She has one in school.. one at home and two in the car! *lol*
